Thinking, Conception and Construction of Intelligenism

From Theory to Organization · by Minghai Zhuo

An original work proposing Intelligenism as a sociological and organizational theoretical framework. It is not about artificial intelligence technology. It borrows the structure and mechanisms of neural networks in deep learning, and views an organization formed by aggregated intelligent agents — humans included — as an intelligent agent in its own right, with the individuals inside it regarded as neurons. On that basis it re-examines how intelligence shows itself in individuals, organizations and societies, and builds a more competitive and adaptive commercial and social form: the Intelligent Consortium — an organizational system that maximizes the intelligence of the organization by assembling simple individuals into a higher-intelligent whole, going past the order-and-control logic of traditional cybernetic organizations.

2026.01 – 07 · Designing the minimal core

Intelligenism Agent Framework

IAF is an open-source, minimal agent framework whose core is under 4,000 lines of code. It rests on one conviction: an agent should be fully operable by an LLM itself — that is what lets IAF adapt quickly to very different business settings. And agents should not evolve only by optimizing themselves inside a single architecture; the framework has to give them room to improve and rebuild one another. The design took its cue from the Microbots in Big Hero 6, and from a basic idea in Intelligenism: complex intelligence emerges when simple neurons cooperate through special topologies. That idea became the IAF unit.

Across the many experiments at Intelligenism Commercial Development LLC (ICD LLC), the IAF unit served as the smallest engineering building block. Modified and recombined, it formed dozens of different multi-unit systems, which we call IAF clusters. The self-governing agents ICD LLC is designing and building in Phase 3 are, in essence, an IAF cluster with a special topology.

Coding is no longer the bottleneck. Deciding is.

Welcome to the self-governing agent stage.

Now that agent coding has become routine, code is no longer the ceiling on engineering efficiency. In digital business, what holds an organization back is decisions: how to plan its data architecture, how to fit its engineering to where the business is going, how to design the business model, how people coordinate, and how stakeholders are governed. A working piece of engineering is still a long way from a successful business plan. If agents stay confined to execution, we may be wasting much of the engineering they produce.

In Phase 3, ICD LLC is working toward a breakthrough in business decisions made by agents. When an agent, or a cluster of agents, can fully take over human decisions within a defined scope, we call it a self-governing agent. Yet even when built from dozens of IAF units, no single self-governing agent can do everything. Just as the limits of human cognition make teams and organizations indispensable, self-governing agents that decide on their own still need social governance. That is where Phase 4, Claritas.City, comes from.

Sharper decisions for your agents.

(Where teams and agents think together),强调 capture 知识、instant 找答案、automate 琐事;官网称其被 98% 的 Forbes Cloud 100 公司使用。
围绕同一套鉴权还衍生出多条产品线:Agent APIs(与 Custom Agents 开会话)、Agent Skills API(下载存于 Notion 的 skill)、Notion MCP(让 MCP 客户端连接工作空间)、Workers(在 Notion 内跑自定义代码/agent tool/同步)、CLI,以及面向企业的 Admin API(合规、审计、legal hold、权限组、MCP/PAT 管理等)。

Plus/Business/Enterprise 提供 Notion AI 等的试用与更高额度。

- **surface 信号**:Security, RateLimits, AgenticAccess, OpenAPI, Documentation, JSONSchema
- **鉴权**:以 Bearer token 鉴权,支持三种认证模型:Internal connection(单工作空间静态 API token)、Public connection(OAuth 2.0,用户授权时选择页面)、Personal access token(用户级静态 bearer token)。
- **OpenAPI spec**:https://developers.notion.com/openapi.json

In our world, a large share of data — and of the value human society creates — comes from interacting with the physical world. We keep watching how world models develop, and we hope that one day claritas.city, the theory of Intelligenism and self-governing agents can take form in the physical world.
